Benefit of Singing

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

Many young people nowadays are part of the church choir. And this is awesome! Because through this you can start practicing your voice and have some singing lesson instead. It will be a big help especially if you love to sing and dreaming that someday you’ll become a great singer.

One good thing is that, you’ll be much closer to God because you always go to church every sunday for Mass. If you’re a begginner and need some practice to improve your singing ability. Then it is better to start it now. Show your talent and be proud!

Aiza Live! Ka Erdy… Well…

Thursday, September 17th, 2009

These past days I was totally not in the mood to blog because the topic that I am eager to blog is about first, when we saw Aiza Seguerra at SM Fairview last August 28 when she had her mall tour there to promote her latest CD called “AIZA LIVE”. My son Clark is the one who encourage us to watch her live while we were doing window shopping.

I have seen Aiza two times. First is when she is still child about 7 to 8 years old at Eat Bulaga studio. I was still in Elementary days that time when our school, St. Martin de Porres had an excursion. And now,the last time I saw her is she has changed a lot. Boyish na sya at still look the same a bit matured but that doesn’t change a lot.

Annoyingly, I have picture of her at my cellfone but couldn’t post it here. Kainis tuloy!

Second thing is I also have pictures of us visiting Ka Erdie’s wake last September 9 after giving Dennis moral support we go straight at INC Central Temple but couldn’t download it also. I wanted to post it here because for me its very special and that I will be able to save his last memory.

It was my first and absolutely the last time I see him so I want to preserve that memory. I really wanted to see him before and hear him preaching but I wasn’t so lucky to be given that opportunity. I’m so sad that I saw him but on that state.

History of the Church

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

The humble beginning of the Church of Christ in the Philippines in 1914 may be traced to the fulfillment of God’s prophecy in Isaiah 41:9-10. The prophecy refers to Brother Felix Y. Manalo, chosen by God as His Last Messenger:
“Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief man thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” (King James Version)

Brother Manalo was the man elected to shepherd the last group of God’s chosen people. The Bible prophetically attests to his election (Rev. 7:2-3; Jn. 10:16). Thus the Bible is the sole authority on which the reestablishment of the Church of Christ, its beliefs, and its success are based. Another prophecy upon which Brother Manalo’s commission to administer the true Church is written in Isaiah 46:11-13:
“Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country; yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted that are far from righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry; and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.”(Ibid.)

Goodbye Ka Erdy & See You Again

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

It was around 10:00a.m when I got a txt that ka Erdy is dead. I was doing my office work and the day was so busy. Many clients are waiting in our booth for their papers and suddenly my celfon beeped and when I read I was totally shocked. I read it again out loud so that Rommel can hear it. He was shocked also, he said “Ano?”.

I felt sad. I got teary eyed. Though we know before  that sooner or later hes gonna leave us because of old age.

He had been very warm to all of us. He guided us in our life through words of God.

Now that your at peace lets us all wait for our saviour Jesus Christ on the day of judgement. He will come and will fulfill His promise to His people.  The Holy Land which is being prepared to His people.  On that day, you are going to see us along. We  promise to you Ka Erdy that the sacrifices of Ka Felix and yours will not be wasted. As we are all saying “SULONG SA PAG SALUBONG”.

Goodbye Ka Erdy we will always remembered and loved you.. images
