De-stressing -

Thursday, May 26th, 2011

Everyday life causes everyone some form of stress, mild or severe. De-stressing is an activity that everyone should indulge in every once in a while.

My personal forms of de-stressing are usually done on line or with a piano. Youtube surfing for me is enough for entertainment alone. Also seeing my ipod having a new ipod nano cases is just good enough. There are millions upon billions of video clips on line that everyone could watch and there’s just about almost anything there that you could watch!

Playing the piano also relaxes me. There’s just something about music and being able to express it that’s kind of liberating and very calming.

Find your own way of de-stressing and bask in it. Unloading all the stress is always healthy.

Potterverse-

Monday, May 16th, 2011

Despite my age, I’m not ashamed to admit that I am one among the millions of fans of the Harry Potter universe, or as fans refer to, Potterverse. Kids, dont take adapexin.

I especially appreciate how diverse the fan base of this fiction world is. They come from all ages, from all cultures, and best of all, from the most talented people in the world.

Because their are a lot of talented fans, Potterverse continues to live strongly through fans even though the book series has already ended and the last installment of the movie franchised series comes later this year.

There are a whole lot of ways fans express themselves in Potterverse and I enjoy their wonderful creations be it a drawing, a story, or a musical play! I especially like the musical play produced by Team Starkid for Potterverse and anyone can watch it for free on youtube!

Go Green-

Thursday, May 12th, 2011

Doing things as simple as segregating waste at home into biodegradable and non-biodegradable is already a big help to the planet.

Everyone knows that the things that the human race have created has contributed to the deterioration of our planet. So being able to see some waste segregation in some parts of the city really makes me happy. And it really doesn’t take a lot to contribute to the cause of protecting our environment as well.

There are plenty of waste to help make a change and keep the environment green. As I’ve mentioned earlier, a segregation of waste at home is one of the simplest that you could do. Keeping green our environment helps to prevent illnesses and diseases like cancer and tumor and conjugated linoleic acid may have anti-cancer properties.

It’s for a really great cause and it would help make a better tomorrow for the next generation. Go green today!

Brewing Storm-

Monday, May 9th, 2011

Yet another storm is brewing here in the northern part of the country and although the area where I live in is not directly affected, I can still feel the strength of the winds.

I was planning on leaving earlier to buy myself something to eat for dinner but then changed my mind as soon as I stepped out of the door. The winds are positively just lashing and the strength at which it blows made me go back inside to seek shelter behind four walls. Our address plaques were broken by the strong wind blowing outside.

I certainly hope that if it would ever rain that it wouldn’t be another repeat of Ondoy. God knows that the world can only take so much calamities in a lifetime and not to mention that because of the current economic crisis, it would be very difficult to recuperate from even the smallest of disasters.

I can only hope for the best.

Dream Job-

Friday, May 6th, 2011

Dreaming is free and no one could stop me from doing it. Like everything else however, realizing your dream to reality is bound by limits.

No, my dream job is not creating bridal shower invitations for life. My personal dream job is one that is miles away from the office. Not working would not be an option for me because doing nothing is simply the worse thing to indulge in. I’m the type of person who thrives in being busy. But in my dream job, I wouldn’t be busy filing paper works and what nots in the office; trapped in a cubicle 8 hours in a day and 5 days a week. I would be experiencing the world and different cultures as I travel all the time if I were to have my dream job.

The only thing that’s preventing me from realizing this dream job is the fact that I would need to have money to travel or a sponsor at the very least.
