The thing we’ll talk about is called couvades syndrome. It’s like male pregnancy. Literally, it does not mean men is having the baby in womb, but it’s about men who experiencing symptoms such as morning sickness, lightheadedness, weight gain. It usually starts near the end of first trimester and generally stops with the birth of the child.
According to the research, 90% of expectant fathers experience these kind of scenario. And first timer daddy and who had distant or ambivalent relationship with their own dad are most at risk for developing this kind of syndrome.
