Buy one take one

Just went to SM Megamall here in Mandaluyong during my breaktime. There are lots of stuffs you can buy for cheapest one. But not all, for only those selected items. I’m planning to buy for a pair of shoes and Digital Camera but can’t find one. :( Anyway, as i was walking on the Department Store i found Buy one take one t-shirt for men in Baleno. I bought 2 pairs for my loving father and brother. I haven’t seen one for my mother and sister. But i’m planing to buy Mom a gold necklace for the Mother’s day celebration this May.

Long weekend

MalacaƱang announced on Wednesday, April 29, 2010 that May 3 Monday is Labor Day. So everyone is having a happy long weekend vacation, and also me.

Labor officials said President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo will not make any wage increase announcement on Labor Day because wage boards in seven regions that have filed wage hike petitions were still holding deliberations that may conclude only in two or three weeks time.

But on May 1 there will be a Mega, Mega Job fair that the government offering 60,000 to 80,000 local and foreign jobs, the biggest ever in the nine-year-old Arroyo administration.

An ulcer, which is a break in the lining of the stomach or small intestine due to factors such as lifestyle, can be very painful if left untreated. Here are some ways to avoid peptic ulcer:

1. Stay away from alcoholic beverages or limit alcohol intake to no more than two drinks daily.
2. Stop smoking or chewing tobacco. Smoking can induce acid production in the stomach and lead to an ulcer.
3. If you need to take painkillers, avoid nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as naproxen, ibuprofen, or aspirin. These medications are acidic and can induce peptic ulcer. Acetaminophen may be a better option.

Attorney Palad’s Oath Taking

Today is another big day for our baby brother, Atty. Dennis Palad. You may recall from a not so long ago post that Dennis recently passed the 2009 Philippines Bar Exam this April 2010 (result day)

Anyway, today is the oath taking of all the Bar passers in PICC. Also, this coming Sunday, May 2 is the Thanksgiving dinner to be held in Edumaker resort here in bulacan.

We went to PICC, left home around 10am.. I used my credit card to fill up the car with gas and we head our way.

Dwarfism

Some people suffer from medical disorder like dwarfism. It is a short stature due to a genetic factor. It’s like an adult height of 4 feet 10 inches or less ( 147 diameters). People with dwarfism condition is not easy. Some are being discriminated for their looks, and they suffer not only for their physical being, but rather it affects emotional and mental being. It is very important to help and support them. A proper care should be provide with them. You can assist them to consult with the right doctors for the best treatment, some are having a hgh for it increase muscle mass, some undergo a surgical treatment that can correct bone problems.

With the proper medical care, most people with dwarfism have active lives and live as long as with other people.

Dengue offensive

Dengue is still around and, worse, is no longer limited to the rainy season. It is now an all year threat to us. Dr. Yolanda Oliveros, director IV of the National Center for Disease Prevention and Control in Philippines emphasized the 4-S of dengue prevention:

1. Search and destroy mosquitoe’s breeding places.
2. Self-protect by applying a mosquitoes repellents.
3. Seek early consultation as soon as symptoms appear, such as fever, and characteristic spots during torniquet.
4. Say no to indiscriminate fogging as it harms the environment.

Aside from those dengue prevention, we should all maintain cleanliness in our surroundings and in our selves.

Nowadays many people are unhappy with their present weight and some are not sure how to change it. Many would be better off staying where they are. Some are dreaming being look like a Model, artist in TV Series. Some get depressed why their body looks like that asking why? is it hereditary? do im eating the wrong one?

There are lots of ways to deal with that kind of problems. Especially nowadays some do a six hours fasting, or a diet which practically a non-healthy diet for they are avoiding carbohydrates, where they believe a high source of fats.
